A: The League of Extraordinary Chefs is an exclusive organization of some of the world's most talented and innovative chefs and FOH professionals. Our team is selected based on their creativity, skill, and reputation in the culinary world. They are also vetted prior to acceptance into the League and held to the highest of professional standards.


Q: What kinds of events and/or experiences do we staff?

A: The League staffs events of all sizes, and short-term to permanent placements. We strive to create dining perfection for professional sporting, entertainment, convention, corporate, resorts, and private events across the United States.

Q: How much lead time is needed for seasonal placements?

A: We would appreciate 30 days notice for seasonal teams to be assembled, however, we are always happy to help as staffing issues arise.


Q: Can we keep the same staff/chef each season?

A: That is certainly the best case scenario. We know consistency is key. When it makes sense, yes, we will work towards keeping the same staff/chef.


Q: What costs are associated with hiring the League?

A: Client is responsible for the following expenses:

  • Transportation and Travel (airfare, luggage fees, & hourly travel time pay to and from the assignment)

  • Housing (individual bedroom/bathroom, shared common space is acceptable)

  • Work Transportation (to and from assignment location)

  • Per Diem

  • Hourly Wages or Weekly Salary (alternative payroll structure)

  • Staffing Fee

About the League of Extraordinary Chefs

The League of Extraordinary Chefs was established in May 2021 when a team of chefs converged upon the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby. Arising out of extreme staffing shortages in the culinary industry, the League was born and has grown to a full roster of highly-vetted and qualified culinary professionals. We offer talent management and placement of extraordinary chefs & FOH hospitality professionals for hotels & resorts, sporting & entertainment events, conventions, top tier restaurants, and vacation ranches.
